Time to Grow for the PTO!
Just ask any school administrator or teacher and they'll tell you that the success of any given school is directly related to the amount of parent involvement and community support that the school receives.  That's why it's so important for you to get involved with the PTO!  Our PTO serves both schools.  It is the only source of funding for Cultural Arts, and it is a significant source of funding for technology, playground equipment, and many other areas that would otherwise not be funded.  The PTO also hosts the Back to School Blast and Family Picnic and Auction to make the school year fun.
Please support your child's school by becoming a member of the PTO!

On behalf of PTO we are excited about the upcoming school year!  It is our goal to stay connected with the families of Hood Avenue Primary and Fayetteville Intermediate School.  With your assistance we truly believe we can make this happen.    We are in need of individuals to oversee and/or assist with the operation of a few committees that are listed below.  Whether you work inside or outside the home, we need you.  This will require no more than a few hours of your time a week.    With each coordinator/committee position listed below you would be responsible for emailing other parent volunteers prior to school events and helping those volunteering stay and feel connected to what they signed up for.  It is the goal of PTO to increase parent participation and this starts with communication with you and your commitment to PTO!  Review the description of each position and contact me when you decide which works best for you!
